Recap by Arash Shahangian
Having saved Hættrland from a second Horror, Asgarday∂a spends the next year getting used to their new status and roles.
The mood in Vogsal is subdued after the massive battles they’ve faught. There is no celebrating, only a collective, quiet exhalation of relief. The leaders plan to hold a Thing in a few weeks with the major cities to set up the kingdom’s new government. Asgardey∂a visit Osk in her hut in the woods nearby. Despite her severe exhaustion, she serves them excellent stew. “Cooking is therapeutic for me.” They enjoy this meal together as exhausted and wounded champions.

Asgarday∂a must face their final challenge: Belnirith’s mother Ægnagryd still rules the undead ruins of Belmunt.
Waking from their well-earned rest, Asgardey∂a exit their lodge and immediately see Hellryn and her host of Shadar-Kai warriors. She explains that her forces will portal to the edges of Belmunt and take care of the undead roaming the city while Asgardey∂a head to the great hall, where Aegnagryd is believed to be holed up, cut off from her accursed benefactors. Asgarday∂a needs to defeat the demon of the Twilight Tower and complete the ritual.

Asgarday∂a makes their way to the apex of magical ley lines in Hættrland to close the material plane to the Great Old Ones.
After their recent travails, Asgardeyda awakes in the Fortress of Memory a bit disoriented and uncertain about how to spend the day leading up to Thorsday and the momentous meeting between Glasya and Asgard. I Greunthrn takes the opportunity to broach a difficult subject with Belnirith: How would she feel if they got into a situation where there’s an opportunity to kill Ægnagryd, her mother? Pretending not to listen, Vyshka and Laguza become very still as they await their comrade’s answer.

Asgarday∂a try to recover artifacts to close the portal to the far realms before the Great Old Ones destroy Hættrland.
The Library Gexxmor is massive, with extensive side passages and rows of books that seem to go on forever. Few beings are present here, and most are of races never encountered by Asgardey∂a. There are a few rules in the library, as the polite Erinyes librarian with the wrath of Hell just behind her eyes informs them: Don’t piss anyone off. No violence is allowed in the Library. No book may be removed from the Library.
